Alexandra Cooper, MSPAS, PA-C, is a NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant licensed in New York State specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She grew up in the metro area of Detroit, Michigan and earned her Bachelors of Science from Michigan State University. Alex went on to complete her Master of Science from Pace University- Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program.
After graduating from Pace University, Alex completed a rigorous dermatology fellowship in medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology with expert dermatologists in the New York City area. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, having completed the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship Program, and is a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She follows evidence-based medicine in her practice in the ever changing field of dermatology.
Alex is dedicated to providing care to her patients with compassion and aims to work together to find best individualized treatments while promoting healthy skin habits. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and exploring all New York City has to offer.
